Research Topic
I work on projects related to technology and social and political change. My lab is part of the Media Cloud project, a large database of news-related online content used to study tendencies and trends in the news and media ecosystem - work with Media Cloud involves topic modeling, network and data visualization. We also build and study small social networks, designed for use by real-world communities for civic and democratic purposes.
